Our Show is coming June 3rd and the Show needs your help! It is time to find sponsors and to sell ads in the Show Booklet for the June 3 thru 6th Show at the WNC Ag Center in Fletcher near the Asheville Regional Airport. You can download our helpful booklet from our website on the Summer in the Mountains Goat Show page or pick it up at the next meeting.

Major Show Sponsorships are $1000. The sponsor will receive a vinyl sponsorship banner to be hung in the show ring along with a full page ad on our website. Sponsorship ads will be announced over the loud speaker several times during the show.

Milking Competition Sponsorships are $125.00 and include a vinyl sponsorship banner and a 1/2 page ad on our website. SPONSOR: Firepink Holler, Margy Burton.

Showmanship Sponsorships are $125.00 receive a half page ad in our Show Booklet and on the PDGA website. Sponsorship money covers prize money distributed to third place. SPONSOR: SUNRISE FARM, Ziggy Forster.

Class Sponsorships are $25.00, sponsor should designate which individual class they wish to sponsor. Sponsorship includes a business card ad in the show booklet and on the internet.

Raffle Table Donations: Sponsor donates an appropriate item for the raffle table, Several announcements will be made during the show. Donating individuals and business will be listed in the show program and on the PDGA website.

Ad sizes & costs for the Show Program and for the website will be: Booklet Size: 5.5" x 8.5"

Full Page Ad:
4.75"x 7.75" $60.00

Half Page Ad:
4.75" x 3.8" $40.00

Quarter Page Ad:
4.75"x 1.85" $27.50

Business Card Ad:
2.3"x 1.85" $15.00

Club members John and Renee Garcia, owners of the Freelance Design Group, have offered to take any existing ad that you have and edit it to fit in our layout spaces. Renee and John take care of the website and prepare our newsletter every other month.

They are also created the Show booklet and a Sponsorship and Ad Sales booklet that you can download online to take to call on your perspective
sponsors and vendors.

Our Show Booklet with rules and entry forms is now online. If you have any questions, please contact Sherry Williams or Yvonne Cobourn with those. We are very excited about our show this year and look forward to your help and support.Our show book contains all the information about the show including the rules, class lists, and entry forms. It will be read and reviewed by members and a large list of dairy goat owners that we think may be interested in participating.

SELLING ADS or ACCEPTING A RAFFLE DONATION:

We have a printable online receipt page to turn in with your ads or raffle donations. You may also print a second copy to use as a receipt to give to those who purchase an ad or made a donation. Margie Burton also has some that are printed if you would like to contact her. CLICK HERE FOR RECEIPTS.

Fill out the form and return to Margy Burton.

Please be sure to fill out all of the information:

1. Advertiser/Donor's Name, Address, Phone number, Contact person in case there is a question about the ad.

2. Record what size ad or if the amount/item is a donation.

3.Submit a copy of the ad as the customer wants it printed.

4. Are you submitting payment?

5. Sign your name because this gives you credit toward winning those prizes. First place prize and second prize is a one year free extension of your PDGA membership.

6. Give the advertiser/donor their receipt.

Please have the advertiser supply camera ready ad or a copy of an graphics they want used. If text is to be used a typed copy is not necessary. The customer can print the information in position as it should be on the ad.

Our show book is important because it helps fund the show expenses. Extra copies are distributed on show day to spectators, sponsors and potential future goat club members.
